Xerion auRCLE Advanced Engine Management System

Xerion Avionix, an upstate New York based company, was founded to create advanced engine management systems for general aviation. Using their combined 30 years extensive experience in the avionics engineering field, the Xerion Avionix founders bring fresh ideas and forward thinking to the engine monitor market. Ultimately, Xerion's goal is to provide the pilot/owner with an integrated information system that surpasses any existing engine monitor system available to general aviation by reducing their workload, increasing awareness and safety. Recognizing the critical nature of precise engine operation and its effects on pilot workload, the founders of Xerion Avionix set out to eliminate the need for multiple information sources to accomplish this intensive task. The Xerion philosophy of research before implementation has transformed the original engine monitor intentions into true engine management implementations. The solution is the most advanced engine management system available to general aviation.

The Xerion Philosophy:

At Xerion we believe in accepting, and in fact searching out, new ideas and technologies to apply to our engine management products. We have spent a great deal of time searching for innovations in other industries and soliciting input from pilots and aviation industry experts to provide Xerion customers with the best and most innovative engine monitor products on the market.

The Xerion Company History:

The founders of Xerion Avionix, have had extensive experience working as a team, designing and manufacturing engine instrumentation for OEM applications in general aviation aircraft (part 23), transport category aircraft (part 25), and helicopters (part 27). The Xerion team has witnessed the aviation industry change from the technology leader to a technology consumer, as the automotive and the telecommunications industries have taken the drivers seat. Many aviation companies have failed to recognize that the aviation industry is not the "center of technology" to this day. This results in missing the great strides technology is presently making. The industry drivers are demanding more reliable systems that possess many safety critical functions. These innovations are directly applicable to aviation if a company is willing to relinquish this "aviation as the center of technology world" view.

The Xerion Quality Statement:

Xerion engine management products are designed and manufactured to surpass the high reliability standards, set by the FAA, whether produced for the certified or non-certified aircraft markets.

What is "Xerion"?

In the fourth century B.C., Zosimos the Greek described a substance called Xerion, a metal that turned other metals into gold. One would add a little dab of Xerion to a pile of metal and after two hundred years, the metal would have become gold.
